Tottenham's Stunning Win Keeps Manchester City Title Race Alive

Spurs' Victory Gives Liverpool Hope

Son's Goal Earns Three Points, Kane Breaks Record

Manchester City's quest for a fourth successive Premier League title has been dealt a major blow after they were stunned 1-0 by Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. Son Heung-min's second-half strike earned Nuno Espirito Santo's side a famous victory, and in doing so, handed Liverpool a lifeline in the title race.

The defeat leaves City six points clear of Liverpool at the top of the table with two games remaining. However, Liverpool have a game in hand, meaning they could reduce the gap to just three points if they win their next two matches.

Tottenham's victory was all the more impressive given that they were without their star striker Harry Kane for most of the game. Kane, who is Tottenham's all-time top scorer, was forced off with an ankle injury in the first half.

In Kane's absence, Son stepped up to the plate and produced a moment of brilliance to win the game for Tottenham. The South Korean forward picked up the ball on the edge of the City area and drove at the heart of their defense before unleashing a powerful shot that flew into the top corner.

Son's goal was his 17th of the season, and it moved him level with Liverpool's Mohamed Salah in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot.

Tottenham's victory was also notable for the performance of their goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. The French international made a string of saves to deny City, including a stunning stop from Kevin De Bruyne in the second half.

Tottenham's win has thrown the Premier League title race wide open. With two games remaining, anything is possible, and Liverpool will be hoping that Tottenham can do them another favor when they host Arsenal on Thursday.
