AEW EVPs The Young Bucks Address Jack Perry's Health Following Blood Guts

The Young Bucks Comment on the Chair Shot at AEW Blood Guts

The latest report has potentially disclosed the secret behind the seemingly unprotected chair shot at AEW Blood Guts this week. The Young Bucks recently competed in a brutal Blood Guts match along with Jack Perry, who received an unprotected chair shot during the bout. Speaking in a new interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, The Young Bucks addressed the controversy surrounding Perry's injury.

"We take safety very seriously," said Matt Jackson. "We would never intentionally put anyone in harm's way. The chair shot was not planned, and we deeply regret that it happened." Nick Jackson added, "We've spoken to Jack, and he's doing okay. He's a tough kid, and he's going to be back in the ring soon." The Young Bucks also addressed the speculation that the chair shot was a work, saying, "We understand that some people might think that, but we assure you that it was not. It was a legitimate accident."

The AEW EVPs also discussed the future of Blood Guts, saying that they would like to see it become an annual event. "We think it's a great concept," said Matt Jackson. "It's a unique and challenging match, and it's something that the fans really seem to enjoy." Nick Jackson added, "We're already talking about ideas for next year's Blood Guts match, and we can't wait to see what we can come up with."
